Our Ethos
At Holy Ghost Catholic Primary School, we nurture kind, well-mannered and well-rounded children who enjoy learning and make a positive contribution to the world.
Our Catholic values underpin everything we do. Guided by the example of Christ, we help every child recognise their worth, discover their gifts and show love and respect for others. Everyday acts of kindness, courtesy and service bring our faith to life throughout our school community
We believe children flourish when they have the opportunities to explore, create and discover. Our enriched curriculum, rooted in our Catholic values, extends learning through clubs, trips and a wide range of experiences. These opportunities help children develop their new interests, build friendships, growing confidence and deepen their understanding in the world.
We value academic achievement alongside spiritual, social, emotional and physical development. We encourage children to be curious, persevere when faced with challenges and take pride in their efforts. Good manners, thoughtful behaviour and a respect for others are central to school life.
Working together with families and our parish, we support each child to grow into confident, compassionate individual with a strong sense of responsibility towards others.
