We are very pleased that you are considering Holy Ghost Primary School for your child. Please click here for information from the Wandsworth local authority about how to apply to a primary school.
We shall be hosting three Open Morning Sessions for prospective families, if you would like to register attendance, please complete the form linked here.
Please find below the information for both Reception applications.
Reception Class Admissions - September 2027/2028 entry
Applications for a Reception place to Holy Ghost Primary School are comprised of the following:
1. E-Line application - Please apply for a place for your child online, via the Borough in which you live. If you are a Wandsworth resident then you may apply online at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/admissions.
2. Certificate of Catholic Practice - If you are applying under the Faith criteria, please ensure you make an appointment to see your Parish Priest where you usually attend, to complete a Certificate of Catholic Practise.
The Certificate of Catholic Practise is available from the school office if required.
3. Admissions Form - For all applications we require a completed Admissions Form.
Submission Dates:
Applications open in November 2026 - borough portals usually go live mid November.
All E-Line applications must be received by your local borough by 15th January 2027.
The Certificate of Catholic Practice and Admissions Form must be submitted directly to the Holy Ghost School Office by 15th January 2027.
National Offer day is the 16th April 2027.
All applications received shall be ranked according to the Holy Ghost Admissions Policy 2027-2028.

Appeals:
The Primary Schools Admissions Appeals Timetable for 2027-2028 applications has yet to be published but the below timetable shows the dates for the 2026-2027 academic year.

In Year Admissions Year 1-Year 6 for 2026-2027 entry
We sometimes have vacancies in other years across the school (Year 1 to Year 6). To apply for an in-year admission for 2026-2027:
- Complete and return an Admissions Form to join our waiting list.
- If you wish to be considered under the faith criteria, please ensure you make an appointment to see your Parish Priest where you usually attend, to complete a Certificate of Catholic Practise.
